We manufacture awide variety of solar (photovoltaic) powered products foreducational, consumer, electronic and custom OEM markets.Manufacturing of our Solarts® solar powered executive gifts andsolar panels began in 1978. Beginning in 1985 and continuingthrough June 2010, we were doing business as (DBA) "SOLAR WORLD"..Solar Made owns a 5000 square foot manufacturing facility inColorado Springs. Nearly all of our solar products are proudly"Made in the USA" by our 18 dedicated employees. The majority ofour solar panels and solar battery chargers are made using Mono orSingle-Crystal Silicon solar cells, many of which are SpaceSatellite grade, (the most efficient solar cells on the market).Solar Made manufactures over 80 standard solar products, andcurrently over 40 products for custom/OEM customers (we worked withthe Jet Propulsion Laboratory to develop prototype solar arrays forthe Mars Sojourner rover).
