AKAS, is one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of candy products in Istanbul, Turkey, with current output averaging 50 tons daily, with significant additional capacity available for production. With its new factory in Akhisar(near to Izmir), established in 2003, covering an area of 20,000 square meters, AKAS produces Deposited Candies with high technology controlled by computer. Employment is currently 300 workers, complete with internal product and package design, engineering, marketing, production, and management capabilities, with a multi-lingual staff. Currently,90% of our production is exported to a total of over 100 countries and we have exclusive agents in about 40 countries at the present time. These export markets range from America to Africa to Europe to Asia to Australia.
