The company was founded in 2000 by Dr. Xiaoping Huin California and funded by venture capital Acorn Campus of U.S.and Hyundai of Korea.  Chenwei Venture became one of the majorinvestors in 2008. Boly Media Communications (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.is a subsidiary company of BMC.   After inventing a series of world-leading patents on imageprocessing, such as image scaling (SuperScaling), no-loss datacompression, video streaming, motion tracking, etc., BMC hasestablished BolyRAW high-quality image processing technologies. Our major products are digital scouting cameras(ie."ScoutGuard"), security cameras, ultrasonic motors, and opticalzooms, etc.We have won numerous customers in the U.S., Europe, andin the Greater China area and is expanding rapidly in thesemarkets.   In co-operation with Tsinghua University, BMC has inventedthe world's most compact piezoelectric motor. The patented productseries currently cover 3-12mm diameters, applicable for many highvalue-added markets such as optical lens (auto-focus/zoom), car,robot, medicine equipment, etc.    BMC produces auto-focus camera modules for mobilephones. The BolyAF modules are driven by the mentionedpiezoelectric motor and perform excellently in cost, dimension,pixels (3-5MP) and reliability.
