Company Introduction
My Importing company will focus on discovering unique products not found in Canada. These items will have both a general scope and specific market appeal. The product category will be higher end quality consumer products designed to appeal to the middle and upper class. I have no intention in competing at the lower price ranges. I believe in the keeping the buying process simple and will allow my Company to react and move faster than my competition. This will give me the edge in hitting markets first.As my contact base grows and I continue to satisfy my clients in Canada but I will then begin to develop the export side of my business. My goal would be to work both import and export once my business relationships have grown. I do believe it is important to anchor the business with Imports to start. North America today is not were the creativity lives for product offering and the challenge will be to find the items for my clients that no one else has been able to.QUALIFICATIONS- 21 years of experience in retail and agriculture industry- 8 years of marketing experience at upper management level- 8 years of marketing consumer related products- 10 years of retail, marketing and merchandising experience- Strong enthusiastic leader and communicator- Great understanding of obstacles associated with customer service- Honor, passion and conviction for doing the best possible job - Results driven and market focused - Strong work ethic and excellent customer knowledge- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Developed reputation and strong working relationships in Retail communityEDUCATION BACHELOR OF SCIENCE - Degree in Business OperationsDevry Institute of Technology, Phoenix, Arizona 1993
