Established in 2002 by a Group of Professionals to facilitate National & International Approvals for goods and services, CII started serving into CE Marking Domain in 2003 and expanded into Inspection Services in Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical Sectors in 2005. Diversifying the scope of Inspection Services to Metallurgical, Chemical, Food, Pesticides, Packaged Drinking Water, Gas Stoves and Engineering Goods in 2006, it also started working into Machinery and Construction Products, Mine Safety, Explosive Atmosphere Approvals and CENELEC based European Inspections in 2007. Conformity India International upgraded into Private Limited Company in July 2007 and subsequently it launched its Product Certification Services for Safety and EMC Approvals. The year 2008 saw addition of RoHS Approvals to the basket of Services provided by CII. The Company currently has 3 divisions. Conformity Certification Services -Offers Product Certification Services for Safety and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Compliance for Electrical, Electronics, IT and Telecom Goods. The Voluntary Certifications are based on Third Party Assurance Mechanism aimed to enhance product credibility. Voluntary Approvals based on SDoC are also authenticated for CE Mark and RoHS Compliance. Conformity Inspection Services -Offers an ever increasing scope of Inspection Services and presently covers the domains of Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Chemical, Food, Pesticides, Packaged Drinking Water, Gas Stoves and Engineering Goods and Construction Products. The Capabilities are covered by - Authorisation from Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) , The National Certification Body of India for Inspections on their behalf for Product Certification granted by the Bureau, for ISI Mark as per Indian Standards, covering complete territory of the Republic of India. These jobs are dealt by various Branch Offices of CII operating all over India. Factory Inspections as per CENELEC Procedures for Product Certification Clients in India & neighbouring region on behalf of NEMKO, VDE, SGS-CEBEC and ELECTROSUISSE the National Certification Bodies of Norway, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland respectively. Compulsory Registration of Electronics Goods with Bureau of Indian Standards and Department of Electronics and IT, India (National / International Approvals from Regulatory Set-UPS) - CII is an Authorised Representative of NEMKO in India. It also works under Mutual Recognition Agreement with ELECTROSUISSE. Through its worldwide connections, CII offers international Approvals for a spectrum of countries covering Europe, USA, Canada, China, Bangkok Australia, Japan, South Africa, Saudi Arabia & Nigeria etc. CII facilitates Approvals from Indian Regulatory Bodies like BIS, STQC, TEC, WPC, CcoE and DGMS etc. CII Offer Consultancy Services for System Certifications like ISO 9001, ISO 14001 Laboratory Management Systems ISO / IEC 17025 and Trainings and HR development Services in related areas.CII also offers Test Equipment for Safety Testing & Compliance.
