    13th February, 2015, PremierEnergys skilled team of Engineers and Technicianssuccessfully installed a 10kva solar hybrid systemfor Joseph De Piro High School For Boys atYuhanabad Asif Town Lahore; an institute that offers free of costeducation to the students, through their partnership with thePunjab Education Foundation [PEF]. The school bears a totalstrength of 560 students and 24teachers (expected to increase in the near future). AsifTown yunhanabad is a deprived area - suffice it to say that nosingle road is asphalted, and the Towns rubbish dump is adjacent tothe school. The Principal of the school Father Gerald specificallymentioned un-announced load shedding, disrupted electricity supplyand huge bills to be one of the most serious issues faced by theschool especially in summers. In order to solve the issue, FatherGerald and the schools management had decided to convert the schoolon solar and had approached a local company for this purpose. Withthe tax exemption on solar imports announced by the Government ofPakistan, every tom, dick and harry has steppedinto the business of solar equipment, without therequisite technical information, experience or brand knowledge.Consequently, these companies import C grade products and theiruntrained professionals incapable of providing proper installationservices add to the frustration of the client instead of makingtheir lives any better. The local company hired by Joseph Schoolmanagement was no exception, not only was the quality of theequipment below satisfactory but the inverters andbatteries used were faulty too.
