Company Introduction
Montserrat Customs and Excise Department is responsible for the collection of around one-third of all internally generated revenue.The Department inspects examines all goods entering and leaving the country and assesses and collects any duties or tax that are liable to be paid. This service is provided primarily at the sea port and airport whilst much of the paperwork is handled at Customs & Excise Headquarters in BradesAs part of the examination process, the Department also searches for and seizes restricted and prohibited goods (e.g. firearms or drugs)
