Ni hao. I am a purchasing consultant for importers in Latin America who buy construction materials and machinery parts from the USA, Germany, China and Southeast Asia. My job is to help importers find and inspect good, reliable suppliers who can offer quality at competitive prices and help both parties reach a good deal. I have been providing these consulting services for 10 years nowI have traveled to these countries several times and can speak English, Spanish, Mandarin and some German. My services are usually paid for by the buyer, as a professional service fee (per hour or fixed price) or as a % of imports if my company should do the import paperwork.I also advise some latin american exporters of microchips, computer parts, precision mechanical components, coffee, hides, wood and some other raw materials and help them export sucessfully to Chinese, North American and European buyersI hope to have a good, lasting relationship with all my suppliers and buyers, as that is the only long term advantage that keeps you in business and will negotiate fairly and not only based on price
