Sylvania, S.A in Costa Rica began manufacturing a wide selection of starters, glow bottles and lighting products in 1967. During 33 years of continued efforts we have achieved an excellent reputation in the international lighting industry including excellence recognition such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Our current annual capacity is 85 million units and has been consistently expanding over the past years in order to serve the requirements of our customers. Sylvania is currently part of SLI, Inc, a vertically integrated organization for the design, manufacturing and commercialization of illumination systems. SLI has more than 30 factories in 15 countries and worldwide operations. Currently, Sylvania counts with approximately 550 employees in the Costa Rica plant.
