Company Introduction
Our company was founded in April, 1981 as an importer and distributor of lighting equipment with the corporate name of Wonil Trading, and our corporate name was changed to Wonik Trading in 1984. In 1985, we started the quartz glass business by acquiring Korea QME, which was engaged in the manufacture and distribution of quartz ware, a semiconductor-related component. Kore QME changed its corporate name to Wonik Seokyeong, and went public on the KOSDAQ market in 1997. Starting with the import and distribution of lighting equipment from 1981, Wonik has been growing steadily, expanding its business into areas such as materials used in semiconductors, electric appliances. Electronics, and communication industries, as well as state-of-the-art medical equipment including endoscope and laser medical equipment.
