In 1968 AlexandrosAndroutsos opens his own factory in Kaminia, an industrialneighbourhood of PiraeusOne of his early constructions is thismedicine packaging machineIn 1970 AlexandrosAndroutsos moves the factory to another industrial area of Piraeus,Lefka, in order to undertake larger-scale constructionsDuring thistime, there is quite a demand for exerciseequipmentFrom 1975 onwards,the factory was mainly involved in the construction of machinetools which could be used in production lines. A range of machinetools was now being produced and special constructions were reducedto a minimum. This is a machine which draws wire (up to 12mmdiameter) directly from the coil and straigtens and cuts the wireto the desired length. Machine tools of this type are still in usetoday
