1. Company history Feb.28, 1995: Established Chong-Ho Electric Tech. Co., Ltd. Acquired Electrical works class 1 license. Selected as a power transmission and transformation technology provider by KEPCO.Dec. 1995: Selected a best substation equipment inspection and maintenance provider by KEPCO.Jan. 1996: Started joint research with KEPCO Test Team regarding the major causes of the failure of super-power transformer circuit breakers. June 1999: Concluded Technical Cooperation Agreement with KEPCO for the purpose of investigating into the causes of the 154KV or higher class transformers and improving the quality of oil filter units.Dec. 2000: Proved through numerous tests at site that the major causes of the failure of the OLTC protective relays were the bubbles created on pumps. May 2001: Concluded Total Technology Transfer Agreement with Kato of Japan. Developed high-performance filters compatible with the existing OFU products. (CH-40-1 type) Jan. 2002: Proved bubble-free and high-performance infiltration in the presence of KEPCO and public inspection agency personnel. Feb. 2002: KEPCO decided to remove existing products for replacement with the products of Chong-Ho. Oct. 2002: Acquired domestic Utility Model patent.Dec. 2002 KEPCO approved the quality of Chong-Ho products.March 2003: Changed the company to Chong-Ho Electric Tech. Co., Ltd. with addition of new business lines. (Technical manufacturing business)May 2003: Applied patent for technology of removing metallic substance in full by using OFU permanent magnets.Aug. 2003 Acquired ISO 9001:2000 certification for OFU.
