Our corporation has been founded in November 1985 in a bid to actively respond to&＃12300;UN Framework Convention on Climate Change&＃12301;and to help promote energy saving and increase convenience in citizen&＃39;s living by efficiently performing the district heating business. KDHC has not only become a friendly partner of customers&＃39; lives through the supply of warm and clean district heating services for the past 17 years,but also has ranked first for two consecutive years(2000&＃65374;2001) at the consumer satisfaction surveys operated by Korean government on the government-invested corporations thanks to the contribution to the national economy in the efficient use of energy and improvement of air conditions, which we take with great pride and pleasure. However, not being satisfied with the fruits we have secured, we are now committed to make an exploration towards our future going ahead of the rapidly changing world situations. Accordingly, we here promise that we will double our efforts to successfully carry out the privatization project which is on the way so as to maximize the satisfaction of the users who are our customers. Besides, we will aggressively participate in other energy business sectors like power generation in order to reconstruct KDHC into&＃12300;a comprehensive energy company&＃12301;from&＃12300;a company specialized in district heating&＃12301;.
