Company Introduction
Since the inception in 1975, Al Mansouryah Co. (AMC) has emerged as a specialist class &＃39;A&＃39; contractor for setting up of hospitals. The company has two prime divisions; (a) Design & Construction Division and (b) Medical Equipment Division Recently, a new division is established at Al Mansouryah for "Medical Sales and Services". AMC was appointed as sales agent for many specialized medical equipment manufacturers from Europe, USA, and Far East. The new division has a team of biomedical engineers for installation, commissioning and after sales services. AMC has a staff strength of about 800. The engineering and supervisory staff is about 120. The medical engineering team strength is 12. During the initial years of business, AMC concentrated on construction of schools and other allied public buildings and since 1990, AMC concentrated on high-tech area of hospitals. Since then AMC is executing hospital projects of 640 beds, 200 beds (2 nos.) and 500 beds. These projects included the building construction with all services and supply, installation, commissioning of all medical equipment for these hospitals. The total contract works for these hospitals were about SR 1.2 billion (US$ 328 million). In addition to the above, AMC also constructed the Tabuk Imara Palace and the Qassim Imara Palace which are a piece of Architecture at a cost of SR 250 million (US$ 66.7 million).
