Alok Apparels Private Limited was formed and promoted by Alok Industries Ltd in April 2007. AIL today are the leading textile house in India and have grown exponentially during the last three years. Alok Apparels was promoted keeping in mind the value addition chain, so that it could take advantage of the vast experience as well as the base of the parent Co. The Plant was made operational from October, 2007 for trial production of the 1st phase The combined experience of over 100 years of its promoters, coupled with production facilities, which are world class, are the key to the success of Alok Apparels. The Co has made a road map for the setting up of IT solutions, which will eventually link our production systems with those of our customers and vendors. In an ever-changing world of fashion the key to success would be the speed of delivery. It has also set up a Sampling Unit, with a State of the Art CAD system, which will enable it to develop and create a huge repertoire of samples, giving customers a value added range to choose from, and ensuring the uniqueness of the Co. s product.Alok Apparels has completed its trial production for the Causal-wear division and have commenced commercial operations since 31st Jan 08. Currently we produce 2, 000 pcs/day. We expect to achieve full capacity productivity of our casual wear div by the end of November 2008.We have commenced with our production for the formal shirt division in July 2008.The Causal Trouser project is expected to commence by the End of March 09.Once completed this factory is slated to give us a turnover of $30 million.We have set up a State of Art Plant, which has the best of the equipments required to produce top quality garments.Alok Apparels proposes to go through the compliance norms set under WRAP as Well as SA 8000, so as to enable the larger American as well as European Co s to work easily with our Co.Compliance cares about Environment Ethical Labor Practices, Health and Safety which is in line with company s belief.-Key Strength :Being a part of the Alok Group there is abundant talent & experience which we can draw on, to ensure in terms of quality & price & efficiently delivering the same.
