Anixter Component Solutions specialise in the supply and distribution of Industrial Plastic and Metal Fasteners and Components calling on a range of over 10,000 standard catalogue parts. To complement our range, we can offer an impeccable bespoke component manufacturing service to ensure that you get the exact part to suit your application.Anixter Component Solutions was originally founded in 1967 under the name Heyco Limited and run as a family concern distributing cable management products to the UK market.As the business evolved the company invested in their own plastic Injection moulding machines and ran in parallel the distribution and manufacturing companies. With the combination of more exclusive UK distributorship agreements and the production of other key components. Heyco continued to grow to a GBP 5m turnover company in 1999 producing and distributing an annual catalogue to its 5000 active customers. In 2000 Heyco was purchased by the Walters Hexagon Group to form a strategic partnership providing fasteners and Class C components to the market at this point the manufacturing site was sold and Anixter Components (Heyco) became a pure distribution company.In 2002 the Walters Hexagon Group was purchased by US based company Anixter International to form the basis of the Anixter Fastener division in Europe this was swiftly followed with acquisitions to increase Anixters presence throughout Europe.
