BFW is a premier machine tool manufacturing company situated in Peenya Bangalore. We have a foundry in Hosur - about 30 km from Bangalore which manufactures casting for our own use and for other customers also. This foundry produces about 200 tons per month of grey, ductile and NiHard castings using the 3 part no bake moulding process.The weights of the castings are -For Grey Iron - 50-3000 kgs single pieceFor SG Iron - 50-2000 kgs single pieceFor NiHard - 50-500 kgs single pieceThe foundry is being expanded to produce additional 400 tons per month from September 2005. BFW Foundry has plans to sell 200 tons per month to other inland and overseas customers. BFW Foundry is certified to ISO:9001:2000 for its Quality Assurance System.The annual casting turnover this year (2004-05) will be about Rs. 10 crores. The planned turnover for the year 2005-06 is Rs. 30 crores.The foundry will have - # Two Inductotherm Dualtrak Duraline furnaces of 1 ton capacity each producing about 20 tons per day, # DISA moulding machine with DISA sand plant, # IMF Italy Sand reclamation plant, # Spinner hangar shot blasting machine,# 15T heat treatment furnace,# Expansion of the Inhouse Laboratory for inspection and testingThe moulding process is two-part no bake process and the casting weight range will be 50 kg to 4000 kg for Grey Iron and SG Iron single piece. For NiHard casting the weight range will be 50 kg to 2000 kg single piece. The castings can be supplied in raw and machined form. Further details may be worked out depending on the load and going through the drawings.
