Company Introduction
The Cagaloglu Hamam is one of the oldest and most famous hamams (Turkish Baths) in Istanbul, Turkey. We have been providing quality products and services in a luxurious setting for almost three hundred years, and have recently decided to offer our expertise to a wider audience. OUR PRODUCTS: Olive Oil Soaps-Our olive oil soaps are of the highest quality, and are made using traditional techniques and ingredients. Our products are made from all-natural essences and extracts, inspired by locally available Turkish flowers, fruits, nuts, and herbs. A wide range of scents is available, from traditional (like laurel and clove) to more modern (like pomegranate or pistachio) . Our soaps can also be cut to order in whatever size or shape you wish, and can be stamped with your logo. Packaging can also be included, if desired. Scrubs & Sponges-The traditional method of exfoliation in the hamam is by kese, a small mitt made from silk or goat hair. These long-lasting scrubs are available in a range of grades, from gentle to extra-strength. We also offer natural sea-sponges, and foam brushes made from the roots of the date palm. Towels & Bathrobes-Our thick and luxurious towels and bathrobes are made from 100% Turkish cotton. A wide palette of colours, patterns, and textures is available. Towel sizes: face (30 cm x 30 cm) hand (50 cm x 100 cm) body (65 cm x 140 cm) jumbo bath (100 cm x 140 cm) Bathrobes: S, M, L, XLPeshtamals-The traditional towel used inside the hamam itself is the peshtamal. This lightweight cotton towel is perfect in humid environments, as it is highly absorbent and yet also dries quickly. Available in natural unbleached cotton, or in a variety of colours and patterns. Hamam / Spa / Bath Accessories-Traditional wooden slippers, brass or aluminum bowls, brass faucets, and other items available.
