Company Introduction
Dong Thap Foods- Agriculture Company (DAGRIMEX) was a state-owned company which found and operated since 1987. After many changes, Dong Thap Foods-Agriculture Company now was changed into DONG THAP FOOD COMPANY (from 1st July, 2007). It is a member of Vietnam Southern Food Corporation (VINAFOOD 2) and also a member of Vietnam Food Association (VFA).The company are specialized in exporting agro-products especially rice. Head office is in Dong thap Province with Representative office in Hochiminh city, 4 rice mills (Food Processing Enterprise 1, Food Processing Enterprise 2, Cao Lanh Food Processing Enterprise, Tam Nong Food Processing Enterprise) and 1 agro-market (Thanh Binh Agro Central Market) located in Mekong River Delta area in Southern Vietnam. DAGRIMEX have been beginning for exporting rice from 1990 and until now having many experiences in collecting, processing rice. DAGRIMEX had many big and traditional customers and have ever exported rice all over the world especially in attending tenders from Philippine, JapanSpecialized in processing and exporting all kind of rice: long grain white rice, high rice, fragrant rice, glutinous- Turnover: 1.800 billion VND per year- Yield: 300.000 Mts per year- Store capacity: 180.000 Mts- Processing capacity: * Milling-polishing from paddy: 5 Mts per hour * Milling-polishing from unhusked rice: 120 Mts per hour * Mixing iron-fortified rice: 110 Mts per hour * 02 sortex machines (100% brand new): total input capacity: 14-18 Mts per hour
