Derrica Inc was founded in april 2003 by a gentlemen name joe and his guide dog, which he needed to acquire following the loss of his eyesight in march 2001. He was finding it difficult to go out with his dog due to the headaches that it entailed upon his return. He would spend up to one hour cleaning all the dirt encrusted into Derrica&＃39;s fur.He tried several kinds of dog coats to no avail. He then asked a seamstress to sew a dog coat according to the design that he envisioned. The day that the coat was ready, he tried it with very satisfying results. Derrica stayed as clean as when she had put on the coat. Even after several walks, the coat was as effective as the first time.I then thought that this coat could be useful to all dog owners of the world. It is for this reason that Derrica design was born.
