Company Introduction
It was 1952 in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco in Mexico. Don Angel Ibarra Sr., his wife, and sons turned an idea into reality. They brought a kids imagination to life in the form of lollipops of all shapes and flavors, with the ingenuity, quality, and service that to this day distinguishes Grupo Industrial Dulces Vero as an enterprising group.It began as a very small factory. After a few years this small factory became known as Distribuidora de Dulces IBRO and at the time, manufactured such items as Mango shaped and Bolileta lollipops. Little by little this small factory grew up to what today is Grupo Industrial Dulces Vero and to the wide variety of lollipops, chocolates, marshmallows, gummies, and hard candies it manufactures. This growth and expansion was accompanied by the penetration of Vero products in to other states in Mexico. The increased demand for Vero products in turn provoked further innovation and new business ventures within the group that allowed for new technologies and processes to be applied.Today, Grupo Industrial Vero is made up of more than 23 specialized companies that include:Factories that develop and create hard candy products, chocolates, and marshmallows. Industrial Printers which develop and design a products packaging, and Distributors located in Mexico, the United States, and Costa Rica that ensure Vero products are available everywhere in the world.VERO EXPORTSOn 1992 Dulces Vero started an incursion in the international markets as a new company challenge once enough experience and quality on production of shaped lollipops and marshmallows was developed and gained during the working years in Mexico. This allowed an acceptance beyond our frontiers that little by little became interest and recognition from our distributor and clients.
