    East India Mining Company was started by the Pioneer in Mining of Quartz and Feldspar in Tamil Nadu, Mr. Ramanathan Chettiar in 1960. Mr. Anand Kumaar a Mechanical Engineer has followed in his father&＃39;s foot steps and is running the company today.The company was exporting its Quartz Lumps to Japan from 1980 onwards which in turn was further beneficiated into High Purity Quartz Sand and then into Snow BAll Crucibles used for Growing Silicon used for the Semi conductor industry.We did not want to be just another mining company that had a facility for milling the products. We wanted to be a company that would explore and develop the milled product onto a valuable mineral.So we developed new methods and processes and now we are able to manufacture High Purity Quartz sand under the Brand Name of Venga. Now we have developed the process and have also added capacity to our production.Our 10,000 Sq. Foot facility to manufacture High Purity Quartz Sand came about because of our desire to excel and be a leader in the field of Quartz in India. We have more than 50 Acres of Mineable reserves which are yet to be exploited and we can supply High Purity Quartz Sand comparable with the best High Purity Quartz Sand manufacturers in the world. Our Quartz has been exported to Japan from 1977 onwards for the manufacture of Quartz Crucibles. Right from selection of the Quartz from the mine to milling and further purification are all done with a view to get the most pure product. With state of the art machinery and process and tight quality control our material is most suited for the manufacture of Quartz Tubings and Crucibles.Our typical Chemical Analysis are as follows Al-6.24 PPM Ca-0.32 PPM Fe-0.35 PPM K-0.76 PPM Li-0.35 PPM Mg-0.68 PPM Mn-0.05 PPM Na-0.78 PPM Ti-4.56 PPM
