Graphite electrodes made from fine calcined petroleum coke and needle petroleum coke are indispensable and widely used in electric arc furnace and ladle furnaces steel production. They are presently the only products available that have the high levels of electrical conductivity and the capability of sustaining the extremely high levels of heat generated in this demanding environment. ELECARBO offer several grades of graphite electrode, including Grade EAFX, ELFX, EAFR, ELFR and ENP, for different application. Matching the grade with the application can lower your melting cost.ELECARBO introduced Grade EAFX ultra-high power (UHP) graphite electrodes designed and engineered specifically for the AC and DC electric arc furnace. operating under severe electrical and/or mechanical conditions. EAFX graphite electrodes are also recommended for ladle furnace applications because of its increased current-carrying capacity.
