FoundationIn 1992 Mrs. Mohammad Khadjuei prospected the Cheshmeh sefid Iron Ore Mine. The Ferdows Mining Cooperative Company (FMCC) has been established.Exploration and GeologyDuring one exploration 3D geological model was prepared by consulting engineers. The Ore body reserve was estimated some 3 million tons of iron Ore. The mineral is fine to medium grain top magnetite, that in south parts are transferring to hematite.Mining methodThe iron ore deposit is being extracted by open pit mining method, based on geometry of ore body.Plant equipmentsMaking use of large facilities and modern equipments and potentiality of quickly expand them. FMCC is able to render contract service and participate in mining operation.Product sales1- In 1997 more than 200000 tons of crude ore has been sent to Gol-E-Gohar Iron Ore Company.2- Since 1997 until now FMCC has provided necessity of Kerman Cemented Factory.3- Since 2000 until now FMCC has provided Iron Ore (10-25mm) necessity of Isfahan Steel Factory.4- Since 2000 until now FMCC has provided necessity of sea oil facilities foundation Pars in south and west coasts for gas transfer pipes coating.
