Company Introduction
We are a french/chilean forestry compagny located in the South of Chile (Chiloe Island) and specialized into the SPHAGNUM MOSS production and exportation. Sphagnum moss is a well known plant for its absorption and storage capacity up to twenty times its own weight of water ! It provides the moisture required by the roots of the flowers and plants together with an adequate drainage and lightness of the soil. Furthermore, sphagnum moss is widely recognized for its sterile and antibiotic attributes, and today, the horticultural industry has discovered its multiple advantages for propagating and cultivating plants, particularly orchids and bulb plants. We would like to emphasize that our moss -harvested from the fields of our 3000 ha of forests of the Chiloe island - is of an exceptional quality.
