    Beijing Gang Yan Diamond Products Company (GangYan) was started by Central Iron & Steel ResearchInstitute(CISRI) in 1993. As No.1 research institutionin China, CISRI has over 55 years of experience in developingadvanced materials and setting national standards for materialsprocessing and analyzing. Gang Yan was set up to take advantage ofthe extensive research CISRI has done in the powder metallurgy. In1999, CISRI grouped five of its industrials in the field of newmaterials and products, including Gang Yan, and established a newcompany named Advanced Technology&Materials Co. Ltd. (AT&M). In 2001, AT&M was listed onChina Shen Zhen Stock Market, and Gang Yan became the only companylisted on stock market in diamond tools industry inChina.   This high technology and strongfinancial background has enabled Gang Yan, with itsinnovative-patented processes and sophisticated equipment, toproduce quality diamonds tools of exceptional and most stablequality.
