Basil Haslett artist, inventor, engineer, entrepreneur and Chairmanand CEO of Glass Craft USA was granted in January 2008 a US Patentprotecting his process of " GLASS ETCHING " with particularreference to tempered / toughened glass. Glass Craft USA commencedtrading 2008 Glass Craft Europe started trading in 1997 in NorthernIreland. Glass Craft USA and Glass Craft Europe are currentlydeveloping its research by using its techniques to create a betterenvironment. This product is called Eco Green Glass. [ EGG] andproduces solar energy control for heating and cooling buildings.EGG also has the benefit of being a power source for electricityproduction. These products can be included in one pane of glass andcan be used in the facade of any building. A Lecture releasing allup to date information on eco green glass research and developmentcalled "The Facade of the Future" was presented atEngineered-Transparency Conference, Dusseldorf, Germany 24thOctober 2012 by Basil Haslett.
