Hancy Mfg. Co. was founded by Ray Hancy in 1985 with his patented product, the Pounce Pad. Mike and Marilyn Deas bought the company from Ray Hancy in 1987 and have had it to this date. We sell a large amount of Pounce Pads which are used for transferring patterns to quilters in the USA and abroad. We attend the 4 largest annual tradeshows every year, advertise regularly in Quilt magazines and have a successful online store at ***** We are looking for a UV powder to add to our existing marking powder to allow quilters who's sewing machines are all ready equipped with a UV light to be able to see their sewing line markings on a light or white fabric. They are concerned about putting colored chalk powders on the quilts the sew for fear the pigment will stain but using a UV powder allows good visiabilty and is easilly brushed off when finished. The quilting industry is very big in the US. Quilters spend over $250 million a month. Hancy Mfg. is known for the best technique for marking quilts on the market and is very successful in selling it's product line.
