The firm Il Franto Ericino has been created in 1996 by a sicilian family with a greatexperience in the production of very pure olive oil from the cerasola-biancolilla and nocellara olives in the great and beautiful land of Trapani just below the Medieval city of Erice, nowadays the so called "City of Science".Il Franto Ericino is particularly specialized in the cold extraction of oil (26C/79F) in the grinding process and this gives to the oil a beautiful light green colour and the low temperature extraction method maintains all the healthy characteristics of a good olive oil.For this process the firm Il Franto Ericino has been awarded from the Sicilian Region that gave to the firm the code TP041 100% Italian product garanteed.The firm has been finalist in The OscarGreen competition in 2006 getting the awardfor the complete production cycle certification from the trees to the bottles.
