Company Introduction
Our company - Svijet biljaka, established in Istria, along the Adriatic Sea. Our production and capacities are situated in the small village of Vodnjan, opposite to Brions nationai park, Istria {Croatia}. This is exactly the place, where 800 years ago, St. Francis of Assisi cultivated medical plants. We are following his tradition. Croatian peninsula of Istria boasts with more than 300 days of sunshine per year. The Mediterranean climate allows us cultivation of the best medical plants and herbs under controlled and ecological conditions in the world. On 50 hectares of our property we cultivate autochthonous sort of lavender, named Lavandula hybrida Reverchon II "modrulja", widely recognised as Lavandula BUDROVKA. The mentioned type of lavender is considered as source of one of the high quality essential oils. On our plantations we cultivate also immortelle (Helichrysum Italicum) and rosemary, in smaller extent of other medical plants. Our annual production of lavender essential oil and Helichrysum Italicum - Immortelle, being currently our main product, is at the moment round 10 tons each. Our current stock disposal is 2 tons of each. All Essential oils are produced by steam distillation process in our own distillery. We have all certficates and laboratory analysis needed to prove our high quality products. All essensial oils are pure organic and ecological growned.
