Atlantis Pumps was founded back in 1957 in Argos, Greece, by Mr.John Kalatzis, one of the very few pump manufacturers in Greece atthat time, as a small workshop producing deep well pumps (VerticalTurbine Pumps). Over the years the small workshop, accumulating theexperience on construction and technology evolved to the presentindustry of 1.800 m2 covered space and 4.200m2 open space andoffices. The main factory is located in Argos, with representativesall over Greece. The factory workshops are equipped with CNCautomatic machining lathes and centers, conventional lathes,drills, radials, and all the necessary machinery that constitute amodern production line upon which lies the perfection of the partswhich are constantly evolving due to a redesigning programconverging to the highest value of the ratio EFFICIENCY/COST.Nowdays as it passed to the third generation manager John G.Kalatzis renamed to "J.P.K. elisson - atlantis". Aiming always atthe existing or new customers satisfaction, J.P.K. elisson -atlantis industry has tried and achieved to cover the demands oftodays water supply and irrigation systems producing a range ofpumps with output ranging from 5 m3/h to 1.800 m3/h andcorresponding total head from 10m to 500m. The range of pumpsconstitute of Deep Well Pumps, from 2.5â³ 18â³ with Hollow Shaftmotors, Horizontal motors with V-belt movement, Solid Shaft motors,Diesel Engines with Cardan Shaft etc. and Submersible Pumps, form4â³-10â³, and the main markets are Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, France,Egypt and the UAE.
