    Jiuzhou Silicon Industry Co. Ltd. is a leading producer of Silicon Metal in Asia. It has several operations in the South of China. The company owns exclusive rights of high quality quartz mines in the region, and has several submerged-arc electric furnaces of up to 6300KVA scale. A 10,000 KVA furnace is currently under construction. In 2005, the company produced 9,600 metric tons of silicon metal, the projected annual production growth is ~25%. Our primary production sites are located less than 200 miles (~ 4 hours of travel) west of Xiamen, a major seaport in southern China, where hydraulic power is abundant, and high grade of coal copious, key factors for cost effective silicon metal production. Our products feature low residual level of Phosphorus, which many of our customers found critical for their end use. We provide silicon metal of various grades up to 99.9% purity.
