WHO WE ARE: In 1998, Louie & Kay Mendez, established Komodo Artcrafts out of passion to work on Teakwood Classic Design Furniture. Not contented on picking out pieces from local suppliers, they set out to transform Komodo as the biggest Teak Furniture Store in Manila, Philippines. MISSION: Everyone has the right to feel and enjoy timeless teak furniture from the magical east built by Komodo, Buying should be a unique experience, Durability and Natural Beauty comes First at Komodo Teak ShopFACTS: Komodo Artcrafts, a single proprietor business, was established on August 1998. It is primarily engaged in the import and retail of Teak Furniture in Manila, Philippines. A production facility was set-up in the province of Surabaya, Indonesia to handle buying and production of its pieces. At present, we have two retail stores. The 1st store which is also the Main Office is located at Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong City, Manila, Philippines. The 2nd retail store is located at 2216, Laureano Building, Chino Roces Avenue (Pasong Tamo) , Makati City. The business has experienced steady growth thus making it imperative to incorporate Komodo Artcrafts, Inc. Last July 2001. Additional product lines were developed for a one-stop shop approach for our personal and institutional clients. To highlight, there are now over 250 different designs on teakwood and other Indonesian exotic wood, flooring, decking, doors & wall panels. Scorpion Imports, Inc. An affiliate of Komodo Artcrafts, Inc. Was incorporated in 2003, to focus on Custom Order and Wholesale of Furniture and Architectural Details. This new company has the same set of officers as Komodo Artcrafts, Inc. .
