We have recently developed a clinometer/ergometer BionClino 401 for bike with ability to display the actual gradient (%) of the road, as well as the instantaneous power developed during the climb.Our device is not based on a barometric sensor, but on a micro-accelerometer. In this way we are able to measure the exact gradient at any point of the road (even when standing still), whereas the barometric types can only display an average based on altitude and travelled distance.Connecting the device to a standard wheel sensor for the measurement of speed and travelled distance, and combining the above informations with the total weight cyclist+bicycle, the device is then able to display the value of the instantaneous power developed by the cyclist (ergometer function) during the climb.The device is patented, and it can also display all the conventional cyclecomputer functions.We are looking for an exclusive distributor in your country, if you might be interested in a cooperation please do not hesitate to contact us.
