This Surf Travel documentary is a program that is spontaneous, energetic and raw, allowing the viewer an opportunity to discover and learn about places as if they were travelling themselves. The concept Is to offer the consumer a library of destinations to be aired on television or released on DVD. Surf travel alone has become a huge industry where surfers from all over the world crisscross the globe looking for waves. This series will give those travellers information on their destinations, information unattainable without visiting the destination itself. Audience Our intended audience would be from 25 to 50, with the focus on 30 to 40 year olds. This program will be classified G or PG, abiding by guidelines obtained from The Australian Broadcasting Authority. Opportunity Surfing demographics are expanding at an alarming rate, Liquid Lifestyles. is aimed at providing entertainment and information to this massive audience. In the past decade, the demographics of surfing have changed dramatically. Young men still make up the majority of surfers, but times are a changing and women are joining in by the boatload. Older men and women, many who began surfing a generation ago, have come back to the sport in recent years. While surfing continues to change through time, it remains an exciting and integral pastime to so many people. The DestinationLiquid Lifestyles will explain all aspects of the destination, showing the topographical lie of the land, the best way to get around and what to do. Liquid Lifestyles will incorporate the history and the culture of the people into the storyline, giving our viewers an insight to each location. The cultural aspect of each location will be explained. Liquid Lifestyles will explore the lifestyles of the locals, capturing the essence of their life.
