Lucky Commodities was formed as a trading arm of the Yunus BrothersGroup. Having a strong corporate base, we started procuring coalfor all major industrial purposes in the country. By the end of thefirst year, the company had acquired a significant share ofPakistanâs imported coal market. With an initial focus on coaltrading, our plans have now diversified to include activities whichincorporate trade for all key energy resources and a wide range ofdry bulk commodities. Lucky Commodities is currently the largest importer of SouthAfrican RB1 Coal in Pakistan with imports totaling more than 1.5million MT in the year 2014. We cater to one-third of the countryâscoal requirements and at present are providing services to morethan 150 companies in the country. We are the most preferredsupplier of coal to major cement, textile and other industries inthe country, owing to our quality, market reputation andcredibility. Since we provide the same Lucky coal to our groupcompanies LuckyCement and ICIPakistan,we do not compromise on quality. No sieving or adulteration isinvolved in our trading and we deliver the same quality coal toyour factory as we receive from South Africa. Our agenda is tooffer the best possible pricing for the best possible coalquality.
