Maxigen Biotech Inc. (MBI) was formed by a group of entrepreneurs and scientists in December 1998. With headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan, MBI has utilized its core competence in biopolymers and developed a broad range of applications in areas such as medical devices and skincare products. Our major shareholders include GIH Group, Mega International Commercial Bank, First Financial Holding, and Nasdaq-listed medical device company -NuVasive Inc. MBI has developed a rich pipeline of biomedical products which consists of FormaGraft, Foramic, ArtiAid, ophthalmic viscoelastic - ViscAid, and surgical and dental wound dressing - SurgiAid. In accordance to the growing trend of minimally invasive surgery, MBI has also developed several biomedical applications, such as injectable bone graft and anti-adhesive.
