Ipek + keten is a sister company of mert ipek; and operates in marketing side of the same business in Istanbul. Mert ipek was established in 1949 producing only 100% silk fabrics and lunching them into market place successfully over the past decades. Due to fashion trends and lack of silkworm production in the globe; company involved to deal with linen yarn and have managed to combine two most desirable natural fibers in its fabric collection. The experience in wovens more than half a century; resulted to have thousands of fabrics design from ranging 30 to 800 g / m2 with own technical development team. This collection can be categorized briefly as follow; - 100% silk- 100% linen- mixtures of silk-linen; linen-Cotton; linen-viscose and linen-elastane- 100% silk and linen; as crinkle, striped, checked and indigoIpek + keten committed itself as a fabric design; production and marketing oriented company which is capable of providing a wide range of fabric service with development to its customer base from Europe to United States; managing 300. 000 M fabric per month in processing and delivering them to garment producers successfully.
