    The history of MEZAP began in 1885 in Thessaloniki, when the Company was bearing the name of its founder, Mr. Nikolaos Kastritsis. At that time, MEZAP was a family business, producing small quantities of sesame pulp and sesame oil.The production of halva began few years later, in 1904. After the end of the 1st World War, in 1921, the Company under the commercial name "MEZAP" began being active in the confectionary area. In 1960 MEZAP started expanding its business to foreign markets; this is when the "contemporary" history of he Company begins. A few years later started the production of jam.In 1967 MEZAP moved from 9, Afroditi str. To the Kalohori industrial area of Thessaloniki in a privately owned area of 5.500m2, where it is located until today . Since 1990, MEZAP has been dynamically active in the Greek market as well as in markets abroad, continuously investing towards plant modernization and product development.The quality policy followed by MEZAP for its products ensures the total satisfaction of its clients.
