Namib Base Minerals started operations in 1992 after it bought theImkor Tin Mine Company in Namibia. Variouse  minerals arelocated in the Old Mine Dumps of which the main material is SalicaSand with a capacity of aproximately 45 Million Tons of coarseSilica Sand and aproximately 6 Million Tons of tailings containghydrated alumina silicates also SN and TA2O5.
