Nanjing Jihua No.5302 Garments and Outfits Co., Ltd, originally the No.5302 Factory affiliated with the General Headquarters of the Armed Police Force, is constructed in 1996 by the logistics department of the General Headquarters for the enhancement and insurance of bedclothes supply for the Armed Police Force. For the construction of the factory, 120 million Yuan was invested. Subordinated to the important direction from the Central Military Commission of army getting no involvement with any production or business activity in 2003, the factory was handed over to Xinxing Pipe Casting Group, Ltd., attached to SASAC. Now it is graded the second-class of large state-owned enterprises. The company is located in Pukou District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, beside No.312 national highway. It is divided into the North and South Area, covering a total area of 156 mu, with an overall construction area of 50, 000 square meters and an overall production area of 39, 000 square meters; The total number of employees is more than 1, 200, among whom professional and technical workers take up 16%, and 72 of them have intermediate and senior technical post tiles, including 12 senior engineers, 45 engineers, 10 designers, 80 measurement makers, 19 pattern designers, 56 technicians, respectively. Especially in the 99 Chinas National Day military parade, the riding boots worn by the national flag escort squadron ceremonial soldiers and the new uniforms worn by the special police formation were produced by our company, displaying the spirit of the Armed Police Force and adding luster to the military parade. In recent years, Our factory, based on the need to transform the style of uniforms and profession clothing into suit-like fashion, invested more than 15 million Yuan so as to realize the upgrade of production equipment for costumes and leather shoes, assembling of six production lines for woolen suits, computerized control of pattern designing and cutting, and transformation of production lines for leather shoes into dual-use lines for seaming and cementing. The technical innovation received approval and recognition from Quartermaster Department of the Armed Police Force and Military Representatives Bureau of the PLA General Logistics Department and our company thus was authorized to undertake the assignment of producing 200 thousand sets of military uniforms and over 300 thousand pairs of leather shoes for the costume change of armed police force. Our company presently is designing and developing approximately 100 kinds of midrange and top-rated leather shoes to meet the demand of market and consumers.
