The study findings also noted thatthere were no other changes in other clinical markers includingmarkers of kidney and liver function, "suggesting that thesupplement was safe." The researchers concluded that "after arelatively short treatment with [the olive extract], subjects withosteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis reported decreased pain andimprovement in activities of daily living."
