It increases the shelf and transit life of packed fruits, vegetables & cut flowers by absorbing gases such as ethylene, ammonia and hydrogen sulfade that are the main catalyst gases in their ripening process, and controlling the packaging environment. By controlling the atmospheric gases, we are able to slow down the ripening process of perishables post harvest. Nu-Purge: Purge and clean processing equipment The Nu-Purge line of cleaning compounds is essential in preventing carbon buildup in processing equipment. It is intended to be used as a drop-in product and engineered to be used for difficult color and resin changes and also preventative machine maintenance. It is used mostly in injection molding, profile and sheet extrusion with specific products are designed for hot and cold runner systems.
