    Fish-and-vegetable feed mix is a protein product used in the livestock industries, poultry industry and fishing. It combines all the advantages of fishmeal and vegetable feeds with complete set of essential amino acid and has optimum balance for animals’ growth. It contains enough calcium (not less than 2.5%) and phosphor (not less than 1.5%) for receiving high growth of youngsters and sound-shelled eggs from layers. Fish-and-vegetable feed mix has quite a number of all well-known microelements that makes it substitute of mineral premix partly. Its technology allows the production of any composition of mixes.Feed eating gets better due to pleasant smell that fish has. Intensive, independent research has shown that fish feed stuff improves animals breeding, extends lactation period and effective increase of body weight gain, reducing feed consumption per 1 kg gain at the same time reducing the period needed for rearing. It is very effective to add fish-and-vegetable mix to the diet of youngsters (to chicks from the first days). To accomplish this crushed corn and wheat are mixed carefully with fish-and-vegetable mix in the following ratio: 1 part of fish-and-vegetable mix for 3 parts of crushed grain. In a week of rearing a considerable increase of body weight and bones strengthening is seen. Feed mix is also effective feeding laying hens. When mix is added mix to feed at a ratio of 15-20% by weight the egg-production is increased by 5-8 % and production period is extended. use in pig feeding (25-35% by feed weight) gives opportunity to accustom the youngsters to nondairy feed very fast, developing good digestion and intensive gain in weight.
