This database has been developed since the start-up of Chemical Marketing & Consulting Services (CMCS) in 1986, from which Ozone was formed in 2003. CMCS was the appointed market research company by Government, and therefore the owner of to the proprietary source data, for the reports under the links Market Surveys and Product Profile contained on www.chemissa.co.za, which is an information system on the chemical sectors in South Africa and the Southern African Development Community. Energy optimisation, electricity demand shifting and process efficiency improvement are becoming more and more important in the manufacturing sector. Ozone has built up a database on these issues through energy analysis and quantification surveys in several market sectors, including an up-to-date database across all manufacturing and commercial sectors in South Africa.
