Partagas appeared on the market in 1845. This means that it is one of the oldest brands of Cuban cigars. It always spoiled the aficionados with highly qualitative cigars, hand- crafted with the finest tobacco leaves harvested in Vuelta Abajo. During years, it had released on the international market a wide variety of cigars, amid them being the blend Partagas Petit Coronas Especiales. Appearance & Construction The Partagas Petit Coronas Especiales cigars have an attractive look. They are brown colored cigars with an impressive amount of oiliness on their surfaces, and just a few thin veins. The cigars are surrounded by red bands, on which the name of the brand it is written with golden letters. In matter of construction, I have never seen before such firm cigars. They have no soft or too hard spots on them leading to a perfect draw and a straight burn. The ash had a grey color and it holds well onto the cigar.
