Company Introduction
PBSL is the first major project that has come up in the North East outside Public Sector since Independence.Prag Bosimi Synthetics Limited is the largest Joint Sector Company and only industrial venture in the entire North East India promoted by the Government of Assam through Assam Industrial Development Corporation Limited (AIDC) and Shri. H. B. Vyas Group.The Company manufactures Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) and Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) at a capacity of 36,000 tons per annum at its plant in Guwahati, Assam which can be increased to 45,000 tons per annum by de-bottlenecking. It is the only Polyster Yarn project in the entire North East, as well as West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa, UP and Punjab. It is a grass root project that was envisaged as being the catalyst for rapid development of textile and handloom related industries in Assam.
