PT. Lontar Papyrus Pulp & Paper Industry ("Lontar Papyrus"), is located at two sites on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. The first site, located in North Smatera - Medan, commenced commercial production in 1976. Its main product is uncoated freesheet. The second site, located in Jambi, South Sumatra, started commercial production in December 1994, and produces pulp. In addition, Lontar Jambi commenced commercial production of tissue products in October 1998.
