Exporter of Romanian walnut kernels.Harvesting must be made when the walnuts are completely ripe and the kernel can be easily took off. They must be washed and unshelled without damaging the kernel.Drying is mandatory, up to 12% for shelled fruits and 8% for kernels. Storage conditions for shelled walnuts:Temperature: 0 to 3 Celsius degreesHumidity: 75%Packing: bags, boxes or bulk in 15 to 25 cm thickness stratum.Storage conditions for kernels:Temperature: 0 to 3 Celsius degreesHumidity: 60 to 65%Packing: boxes of 10 to 25 kg.
