Its flame retardant properties comply to the requirement of GB12666.6-1990(identical to IEC 332-3 bundle burning ).For low halongen cables the quantity of the halogen acid is less than 100mg/g, For halogen-free low smoke flame retardant polyolefin wires and cables, the quantity of the halogen acid is less than 5mg/g. The smoke density complies to GB12666.7-1990(identical to IEC 61034 burning chamber test method).For low halogen cable the smoke density is larger than 30%. For halogen-free low smoke cables the smoke density is larger than 60%.The cables have the same dimensions as PVC insulated cables.For low halogen cables the insulation should be halogen-free low smokepolyolefin or PE or XLPE. For low halogen cables the inner and outer sheathshould be low smoke polyolefin sheath material.For halogen-free low smoke cables the inner sheath should be low halogen low smoke or halogen-free low smoke polyolefin smoke polyolefin sheath material, the outer sheath should be halogen-free low smoke polyolefin material.For anti-termite cables the sheath should be anti-termite halogen-free low smoke sheath material.
